But there are some blemishes beneath Citadel's flash. The
company's acquisition pace has resulted in losses for the past
five years, including 1997's net loss applicable to common
shares of $11.9 million.

That trend continued this year, with a first-quarter net loss
applicable to common shares of $8.7 million. Citadel expects to
continue losing money at least through 1999, according to its
prospectus.

And its strategy of accumulating groups of stations in target
cities is subject to antitrust limitations. The company has already
received investigation demands from the Department of Justice
regarding its holdings in Albuquerque, N.M., (where it owns
eight stations); Spokane, Wash., (eight stations);
and Colorado Springs, Colo. (seven stations).

During the rains in December 1996 and January 1997 this rut which has
depths ranging from 10 feet to 40 feet deep
was cut into the side of the road.
90 FOOT DROP OFF VERY DEEP RUT!!!

It was deemed impassable by the Chief Engineer (MANY TIMES)
and much later by a managment crew out for a joy ride.
Managment found it cheaper to replace the Engineer
then to repair the road..
After heavy rains had turned the dirt road into a river of mud again
the next Engineer slid off the cliff in the station truck
with two wheels off the ground and one tire peeled off the rim
he had to dig out and change a tire, befor the job on the hill
could be started!
Due to lack of Citadel managment support in less then a year he quit!
Citadell had the nerve to cut the engineering paycheck in half
for the next guy. Time will tell if this management style works.

There are many safety issues about radio engineering
that managment will never understand.

this RCA BT transmitter is much older then the citadell radio corpration
or even any cars driven by the owners!
This is very unsafe work, one time we worked on the AC power transfer switch
with over a inch of water on the floor and no lights on a stormy winter night from hell!
When we got them back on the air and returned to the studio no one even said thank you !
I had to get some new shoes on the way home.
