1 mile in on the road to Mt. Oso
Thats NV6S:Leroy on the Road in the red truck .
We were lucky to see the rare wild boar near the creek on that trip
we saw some wild mule deer that day too !
we see a lot of deer around here , lots of deer ticks too !
About 4 miles in,on the road to Mt Oso, past the farm house and 2'nd gate.

As of late last year, sewer lines were going in and an entry road had been built.
The Diablo Grande development ultimately calls for 5,000 homes, six golf courses,
commercial buildings and other attractions. Construction was to start in spring on the first subdivision,
including 313 homes. local hero's Protect Our Water's Steve Burke succeeded in having
Stanislaus County supervisors remove
approval of the subdivision map from a meeting agenda.
He claimed the public had not been properly notified of pending action.
