is doing ( off the air again???)
Ask them if b93 is moving the studio to Patterson,Ca. ( there city of license )
in a move to better serve the public in there LOCAL city of license ( http://www.fcc.gov )

we know all to well how corporate stations
*MOVE-IN* towards the city that will make them the most money
in this case Modesto,Ca. , the station will use 100 times more
electricty from the recycled transmitter site on Brady road.
West of Ripon , South of Main in Matenca
So what is the stunt for ? to cover up all the dead air of moving
radio station hardware from Mt. Oso ( patterson area ) down off
the hill over the river and towards the mall.... to the brady road site.
the station is just milk'n it... much like the cow farmers next door to this
stinky transmitter site from hell
but did CheapChannel Radio buy a stand-by power generator to run this EAS/amber
big time radio station at full power when the PG&E power turns out to be Enron'ed ???
maybe im way off here & there going to start calling that music
B93 plays christen rock and not 'toad'ds zit musac' ;p

This is a view from just below the 93.1 FM transmitter site , about 3300 feet high.
This mountain site is known as Mt. Oso which will be seen in many pictures on this page.
This site is the highest in elevation out of all the transmitter sites in this part of the Central Valley.

From the top of Mt. Oso you can look across the agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley
and see the ski slopes on the Western face of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Mt. Oso is only a few miles north of the waterless Diablo Grande over build.
From way up here the station only needed to run about 2000 watts
to totaly cover the markets., but no need to save electricty now!

at 2121 Lancey Street (37-40-12/120-57-27).
