Homebuilders Named In law Suit - (LOS ANGELES) --
Two homebuilders are accused of building defective homes during the past ten years.
Lawsuits against both contractors blame poor soil compaction for causing cracked stucco
and foundations... cabinets pulling away from walls... rotation of walls...
and defects in plumbing and roofing. Kaufman and Broad is being sued by nearly
650 plaintiffs in connection with some 400 homes in the California development.
Mesa Homes is being sued by 220 plaintiffs over 67 homes in the Merida development.
